Overview

PlayBridge is a browser and TV remote control app for Android that allows you to browse the web on your phone and send video content to your Android TV over your local network. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with any server, service, or third party.

Data stored on your device

PlayBridge stores the following data locally on your device only:

All data is stored using Android's Room database and DataStore APIs on the device itself.

Network usage

PlayBridge communicates over your local network only to connect to your paired Android TV. No data about your usage, browsing, or content is sent to the developer.

The app also connects to the following external services when explicitly configured by you:

None of this data is routed through or accessible to the developer.

Permissions

Third-party services

PlayBridge uses GeckoView (Mozilla's browser engine) to render web pages. GeckoView's own privacy policy applies to its operation. PlayBridge does not use any analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs.

Children's privacy

PlayBridge does not knowingly collect any information from children.
